This
prestigious event took place at Milton Keynes karting centre on 18th
March 2006.
Rumour
has it Tony was so desperate to win he hired a team of ringers complete
with own helmets and turbo charged go-karts. Sure enough his team
won
Although good fun was had by all (except the losers), some people
complained about the difficulty in steering/handling/braking, heat and
boredom. After careful consideration, we have submitted a request to the
centre for next time to equip their go-karts with just a few basic
extras, namely power steering, air-suspension, ABS, air-con and CD music
system. We're currently considering the request for track-to-driver
communications system + driver-cam. For a couple of drivers
who got lost on the track, we feel requesting a sat-nav system was
just little over the top so maps will be supplied next time.
Anyway, here are the pics...........(note I skipped the first 25 photos
which showed a numerous go-kart in bascially the same position racing
round the track with various unrecognisable drivers - the first photo
gives you an idea, just imagine same kart, same position but different
boiler suit colours and you get the idea, and we save webspace)
